Shortlisted Design Proposal for the new Cargo Terminal Building at Hamburg Airport. The design study included a new Cargo Terminal in close proximity to the threshold of the runway. To be compliant with the obstacle limitations it is necessary to keep the roof and structure at a minimum height. The access will be via a new tunnel underneath the main public road around the airport.
