Passenger Flow Simulation
With the passenger flow simulation, you have the possibility to test the functionality of any project in planning stage. It is a simple analysis method that immediately reveals whether a project concept will meet the new requirements or not. This gives you a clear insight into complex building structures like Airports, Stations, Mobiliy Hubs and allows you to react to any bottleneck at a very early stage.
This is an example of a “heat map” that we implemented for a project in Hamburg.
We tested the conceptual scheme of the Deutsche Bahn for a large interchange station “Berliner Tor”. The potential bottlenecks at the central crossing areas are highlighted in “red”, which means this conceptual idea must be adapted.
